Since combining their artistic efforts in 2001, the Klines have created an important and exciting body of conceptual work that has brought them to the fore of the California arts scene, as well as attracting international attention. Ranging from installations to large-scale performance, the Klines projects have focused on political, economic, and social issues, addressing such topics as religious tolerance, California-Mexico relations, the electrical power industry, and the nature of creative thinking.
